ABOUT

MEET KELSI BLAIZE
My name is Kelsi Blaize Clark and I am a senior at Kent State University, studying fashion merchandising with a minor in fashion media. Fashion has always piqued my interest ever since I was a little girl. As someone who wore a uniform in my early school years I am always finding new ways of expressing myself through clothing. I have always loved to create in any aspect I could whether that be through my fashion, videos, art, or even photoshoots and I am always looking for new ways to create.
Almost two years ago I started my own YouTube channel as a creative outlet to share my experiences in fashion school, travel, and my day-to-day life. This blog is an extension to my videos, a chance to dive a little deeper into the fashion industry and what it looks like for me.
Over the course of this blog I will write articles analyzing fashion trends, talking about my own clothing choices, how to style certain pieces of clothing, and diving into the deeper meaning of fashion. These articles will also bleed into some other topics including packing tips, studying abroad experiences, what it was like interning in the fashion industry, reviewing fashion products, and what fashion school has been like from my perspective.
Throughout my college experience thus far I have participated in two internships, New York Fashion Week, numerous styling opportunities across campus, and two separate study abroad semesters in London and Florence. In sharing these experiences I hope readers can learn, relate, and enjoy my perspective as a new face in the fashion industry.
My goal is to create a community of people who love fashion and are experiencing the industry around them into early adulthood. Navigating future careers in your early twenties can be a difficult task, but I hope this blog brings some peace of mind to people at a similar point in their lives. As I share my experiences, opinions, and overall thoughts on my journey in the fashion industry, I hope young creatives can relate and feel welcomed here. Welcome to my blog!
