Community Engagement: Kent State Annual Fashion Show 2026

I have spent the past four years as a fashion merchandising student at Kent State and can confidently say that this school is a great place for fashion, and with that, a great place for fashion shows. Every year the School of Fashion hosts its Annual Fashion Show featuring looks from its senior design students and is truly a showcase of emerging talent within the fashion industry. This year I have been lucky enough to be one of the model coordinators in the show and have worked hands on with the behind the scenes of the show thus far. From fittings to emails to media days I know this show is going to be one of the best Kent State has ever had.

Where is the Fashion Show Taking Place this Year?
This year the show will be happening at Kent State’s new business building, Crawford Hall. With its updated architecture, spacious design, and vast windows it is the perfect place to showcase the art that emerges from the School of Fashion.
When is the Show?
There are three different nights that the show will take place:
Opening Night: April 30th, 7pm
This will be the grand reveal of the looks featured in this year’s annual fashion show and is the perfect opportunity to see the looks before everyone starts talking about them.
Awards Night: May 1st, 7pm
This night will be extra exciting as awards get handed out to the designers for their exemplary work and dedication in the School of Fashion.
Gala Night: May 2nd, 6:30pm
Last but not least will be the Gala Night where we wrap up fashion week at Kent State and celebrate the hard work that everyone put into making the shows happen.

Where to get Tickets?
Though tickets for Opening Night and Awards Night are already sold out, there are still tickets open for the Gala Night. Do not miss out on the fun and be sure to get your tickets here.
