As someone who has worked as a sales associate for Sunglass Hut over the past few years, I know a thing or two about good sunglasses. I also have a plethora of sunglasses of my own that I wear and use all the time. One brand that I own a few of is Prada. This post is not sponsored by Prada and is my own honest opinion on the brand’s eyewear. I will be diving into three different styles and breaking down their pros and cons.
Three different Prada styles, for three different occasions.
Prada - PR 17WS
Starting off strong we have one of Prada’s most popular eyewear styles, the PR 17WS. These glasses provide that strong rectangular shape that is really trending in the eyewear world. It is a sleek style with the Prada logo placed on both sides. These glasses are a really good pick since they go with everything. Though they are not polarized, they’re very sleek and fashion forward.

PR 17WS with a black frame and gray lenses, perfect for the bright sun reflection on the water.
Pros:
Stylish
Versatile
Comfortable
Cons:
High price point
Non polarized lenses
Tight for a wider face shape
Prada - PR A51S
Next we have a more geometric wire frame pair of sunglasses, the PR A51S. Though the pair I own (black with polarized lenses) is hard to find, the style does still exist in other color ways with unpolarized lenses. These glasses feature a comfortable nose pad that adjusts to your face, however the pieces can get stuck in your hair or leave red marks on your nose once you take the glasses off. They also have a unique logo design on the side which is my favorite feature.

PR A51S matched with a business casual outfit showing they can be dressed up or dressed down.
Pros:
Unique
Versatile
Comfortable
Cons:
Nose pads leave marks
Hard to find polarized
High price point
Prada - PR 26ZS
Lastly we have my favorite pair of sunglasses I own, PR26ZS. These glasses are a smaller style with a subtle cat eye that are super comfortable. I own the tortoise shell with brown lenses which makes these glasses perfect for even an overcast day.

PR 26ZS worn out in the cloudy weather making them perfect for all kinds of light conditions.
Pros:
Super comfortable
Lightweight
Versatile
Cons:
High price point
Not polarized
Overall, Prada sunglasses are great for those looking to be fashion forward with up to date and cutting edge styles. If you are looking for more practicality, a polarized pair or another brand may be best for you. However, if you look hard enough Prada does have a pair for everyone that is sleek, stylish, and functional.
